This is the only movie I own; it’s the Royal Tenenbaums by Wes Anderson.  When I watched this movie for the first time I was blown away; it is so artistic and every scene is like a piece of art.  I used to be an interior design major and I really appreciate how beautiful the designs and color schemes are.

I have a natural appreciation for design, art and architecture, and anything that takes time to create or build.  My mom’s side of the family is like this, it is also a big part of American culture.  I have a big problem with a lot of architecture though, like the unoriginal “McMansions” that all look alike.  It’s disappointing to see some of the architecture that is out there today.  I think the more that women have an influence in the creative fields there will be more of a focus on aesthetics and making something beautiful.

For me this movie represents finding something simple in life that brings a lot of joy.  I feel instant gratification when I watch this movie.  It taps into my interests; it really inspires me to be creative and inventive.  It is utterly inspiring to me, so it is not just a movie; it is a masterpiece!
